This Shit Is Cheap!

I’ve always been told a college education in California is very affordable if  you’re an in state student.  Well, I’m considered a resident now and have been tossing around the idea of going back to school to get a degree in English and brush up on my Spanish.  Why you ask?  I don’t know.  Apparently I’m not busy enough right now.

Luckily I didn’t have to work very hard to research a school because although I keep myself busy I, like many, can also be incredibly lazy and I probably wouldn’t have ever actually put research into action.  So anyway, my co-worker and buddy Rachel also has the same hair up her ass, and has already done a lot of research.

Long story short, I can take a full load for a semester for the grand total of $600 at Santa Monica College.  Yeah, that’s cheap.  No, it’s not Harvard, but you didn’t go to Harvard either so shutup.  It’s only a two year school and I would have to transfer to another school once I’ve finished there, but man, it would be kind of dumb not to take advantage of the price of knowledge out here.

Maybe I’ll just take a few classes.  Maybe I’ll try to get my BS.  Maybe I won’t do anything.  It’s really nice to have the option so readily available though.
